Brief Description: Our nonprofit organization, Citizens Market, will empower consumers with reliable information about the social and environmental performance of companies. We’ll develop a collaborative user-generated database and provide consumers with convenient access to corporate scores through text messaging and barcode scanners on mobile phones. We seek $30K to develop the prototype as a viable pilot. After that, we'll need $212K for our first year and a total of $884K over five years until we are self-sufficient.
